I’ve got a boycrush

Do you know how I know David Archuleta will probably be in the finals (and *gasp* may win)?

You know how when some people sing songs, and not necessarily slow ones, the audience tends to keep quiet?

When David sings, people keep quiet because his voice is so pure and they are really into it. For the rest, I think it’s like they keep quiet out of respect.

I can’t explain it, it’s just a feeling.

And it helps that he always does that aw shucks thing when people scream at him (and yes, we all heard it. If I could, I’d ask him to marry me too) . I don’t know if it’s an act, but if it is, he’ll probably have a great acting career as well. But I don’t think it is. It’s tough to pull something like that off week after week.

edit : I honestly think he’s gay. I’m not trying to be biased or jealous or whatever, but I was a gay kid growing up in a straight world too. I know. Plus, my gaydar seems to have improved tremendously, probably because of The Boyfriend. Whom I love. A lot.

I love Danny Noriega too. He’s so fabulous. And his voice is amazing. You really can’t imagine a voice like that coming out from someone so young and skinny.
